High awareness, strong engagement rates and Best of Swiss Web Gold Award thanks to campaign management and cookieless tracking



Introduction
As part of the Zurich Tourism Fall Campaign 2021, the city and region are positioning themselves as an exciting family destination in partnership with the Kinderregion association. In collaboration with technology and media provider cptr, a targeted engagement advertising setup was designed to promote seasonal experiences (excursion destinations and leisure activities) in the city of Zurich and the neighbouring partner regions of Rapperswil/Lake Zurich, Baden, Schwyz, Winterthur and Zug is being designed across the entire digital marketing funnel (awareness, consideration, performance).
The focus was on four key areas: nature, culture, sport and urban experiences. Discounted 2-for-1 experience offers could be sent or gifted by users via the specially designed Postcard Creator, with the overarching goal of generating bookings. The fusedeck technology (SaaS marketing technology) served as a tool for optimising the implementation of the various measures and as a data protection-compliant tracking and analytics solution.

Results
The campaign, which won the Best of Swiss Web Gold Award, delivered measurable results and impressively demonstrated strong user interest.
